Refund and Cancellation Policy – Maxfun Kids Playground

At Maxfun Kids Playground, we aim to provide a fun, safe, and memorable experience for every guest. We understand that plans can change, and we have set out the following policy to ensure transparency and fairness for all parties.


1. Ticket Refunds

  • All Tickets (Standard, Group, and Party Packages):
    To be eligible for a full refund, cancellations must be requested at least 7 days (1 week) before the scheduled play date.
    Cancellations made within 7 days of the play date are non-refundable, but may be rescheduled once free of charge (see Section 3).

  • Promotional / Discounted Tickets:
    These tickets are non-refundable, unless the session is cancelled by Maxfun due to unforeseen circumstances.


2. No-Shows

If a customer fails to attend their booking and does not notify us in advance, the ticket is non-refundable and non-transferable.


3. Rescheduling

Customers may reschedule their booking once at no extra cost, provided they notify us at least 12 hours in advance, subject to availability.
Further rescheduling requests may incur an administrative fee.


4. Cancellations by Maxfun

If Maxfun cancels a session due to weather, maintenance, or any other unforeseen circumstance, we will offer customers the choice of:

  • A full refund, or

  • A free reschedule to another available date.


5. How to Request a Refund or Reschedule

To cancel or reschedule a booking, please contact us with your booking reference number and the reason for your request:


6. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days to the original method of payment. Refund times may vary depending on your financial institution.


7. Legal Compliance

This policy complies with the South African Consumer Protection Act (No. 68 of 2008). By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the terms outlined above.
